Day in the life..

Just thought I would share my day with whoever is reading!

-- Saturday 22nd November --

Me and my Girlfriend, Katie woke up at 11:30 and had to start getting ready to meet Katie's mum and step-dad for a meal in pizza express, being poor students we were excited as we don't really get to eat out much. Katie and I went for the same choice of a calzone classic, I didn't really enjoy it too much as it had a very heavy tomato flavour to it which I'm not really a big fan of.

Katie and I started dating at the end of April this year, since being together I've probably eaten out at pizza express about 20 times, it's Katie's favourite restaurant if you hadn't of guessed by now. The weird thing about it is that every time we go Katie has the same thing to eat over and over again, the American pizza. Full up on dinner now we then headed off with katie's parents to do some shopping in Cabot Circus (Bristol) although not buying anything it was great to have a look around and see what the high street shops have on offer for this seasons collections.

Having departed ways with Katie's parents we then set off getting ourselves sorted for our night out ahead at The Lanes (Bristol) for our friends 20th birthday. With 10 cans of Fosters in our hands we headed off to pre-drinks at our friends flat.

Arriving at the Lanes for the night there was a band playing called 'Dexters' who were absolutly quality and everyone in the room was going mad for it. It was great to see friends I haven't seen for a while too and everyone had a great time, I'm looking forward to going back soon.

A few pictures from Last night at The Lanes! 

OOTD #1

Thought I would show you my outfit of the day, this is my usual kind of style as it's a sharp, simplistic look which is easily thrown together.

This dark simplistic look is something I've been wearing a lot this AW14, for me it's a day to day look. My style is very simple as I'm not a fan of massive 'out there' looks so I keep it basic. I believe simple is best, you can create killer looks without much effort or time.

My charcoal spray on skinny jeans are a great addition to any guys wardrobe, it's an all round piece that can be brought to life with any type of clothing, the jeans feature rips in the knees (hard to see, sorry!) which brings individuality and a cutting edge look to what would just be a standard pair of jeans. For me, the simplest of looks can be completely transformed with the slightest of detail. It brings sharpness to what would be a bland pair of dark jeans.

My Military style boots, which I purchased a few weeks back, really caught my eye whilst browsing in Dr. Martens (Bristol) where I fell in love with them. I tried them on there and then and the rest is history. These style of boots are very in this AW14 and with the inevitable horrible British weather, these boots will cover me on all fronts, whilst keeping a fashionable look.

My black T-shirt from the basic range that American Apparel offer is great. It's a diverse piece that, like the jeans, can be matched with numerous colours and clothes. Basic T-shirts are a necessity for any guys wardrobe and the simplicity is great when wanting to stay looking sharp and stylish with little time and effort.

The look all ties in with my dark navy vintage Harrington which was passed down to me from my Dad, this creates a casual look which is easily worn on a day to day basis giving timeless style and a fashionable presence.

This is an easy look, which still brings a certain sharpness to my appearance, it's effortless and timeless, I love it.
